My Reason to Relay

My mother was born on August 27, 1938 in a small logging camp on the Neches River known as Fastrill, Texas. She was the sixth child of twelve born to Rosa and J.J. Miranda. She married my dad, Albert Leon Grumbles, Sr. on September 5, 1956 at the
First Baptist Church, Diboll, Texas.

In July of 1971 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a radical mastectomy. The next four years were a continual struggle to overcome this disease. She went to meet her Lord, Jesus Christ in the early morning of July 20, 1975.
